Frances Shelley is a composer and piano player based in East Anglia in the UK.
Fascinated from an early age by sound and its ability to transform and heal, her work has an innately meditative and emotional quality, and reflects her deep rooted connection with nature and the environment.
Having achieved a BA Hons degree in music in 2010, her focus today is on composing contemporary classical piano and electronic music for film and documentary. Her work has been described as a cross between Phillip Glass and Debussy, with shades of Olafur Arnalds. During her career she has worked with Thomas Dolby and composer Richard Hartley among many others, and her music has been used globally in film, dance and art projects.
For Frances, making music is an essential part of daily existence, and she is delighted to be able to share it with you.
