David Gerald Sutton is a young musician with an old soul. Having studied classical and jazz music since the age of 10, David has always been pushing the boundaries of definition in "what a violin can do?" He sought to learn from every genre available, from blues and funk, to ambient and electronic pop, and received his B.M. in Violin Performance in 2013 for doing so. David now frequents the music world in whatever ways he can, from performing as a one-man orchestra, to writing and arranging for other artists as a producer of a strings-related nature and beyond. Taking inspiration from Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds, his writing similarly captures that line between ambient and classical, whilst evoking beautiful emotions and stories through his music.
